Our Women’s Section at the London Scottish Golf Club is a friendly and growing community of women who enjoy great golf, good company, and the beautiful surroundings of Wimbledon Common.
Women are welcome to play in all Club competitions, which are fully mixed events, making it easy to meet new people and feel part of the wider club from day one.

Our story
Women have been part of London Scottish from the start, teeing off on Wimbledon Common since the club’s earliest days.
One of our trailblazers, Isette Pearson, helped shape the future of women’s golf. A passionate player from Putney, she co-founded the Ladies Golf Union in 1893 and inspired the creation of the Pearson Trophy, still one of England’s top women’s amateur competitions today. Her spirit of progress and passion for the game continues to define who we are.
