competitions

If you play on the Saturday of a major competition, you must enter the competition that day rather than on the Sunday, unless you are playing in a club match or knockout competition. This ensures no one gains an advantage by seeing the course and pin positions before competing.

If the course is closed on either competition day, the event will be postponed and rescheduled.

To protect the integrity of the competition, all major competition rounds must be played in groups of three or four, not two-balls. This is standard practice at most golf clubs.
