Here is a beautiful painting we came across of the clubhouse - date and signature of the artist hard to make out but it seems to have been done in 1899. Hoping to find out more about its history!
LSGC Members visit St Andrews!
4 of our members, Dave Groom, Peter Mason, Tim Hansen & Jeremy Wyatt have just returned from a golf trip to St Andrews where they played 8 rounds in 5 days! Good effort lads!
RWGC Putting Competition 2017 - Results
A massive thank you to Royal Wimbledon for hosting the annual RWGC Putting Competition 2017, yesterday evening. Representing the club this year was Jim Boyes, Dave Paul, Tommy Tighe and Calum Bavan. Each player played 6no 18 hold rounds against Wimbledon Park Golf Club, Royal Wimbledon, the RAC, Malden Golf Club, Royal Mid-Surrey, and WCGC.
Our team finished 2nd, losing by a single point on the last round to Malden Golf Club. A notable mention to last years Club Champion Dave Paul who won 5 of his 6 matches!
