The two Autumn meetings are played this month: the Mackenzie Challenge Cup on the weekend of 15 and 16 September and the Bathgate Challenge Cup on 22 and 23 September. Each is an individual major event in its own right and together make up the Autumn Scratch Medal (which was first competed for in 1886). The reigning champions are Darran Gallager (Mackenzie, won last year with a 64) and James Burt (Bathgate, 65).

Congratulations to John Prigg, who won the Ben Musk Trophy with an excellent 43 point return. His round included two eagles, on 11 and 16, as part of a 2 under par back nine. In second place was Andrew Howarth (40 points) and in third was Darran Gallagher (39 points).
