Autumn Pairs Open

Hot off the press is the result of our Autumn Pairs Open. The winners were Russ Groombridge and Ian Camino from Fulwell Golf Club, who shot a net 56. The second and third prizes went to 'home' pairs: David Groom and Rob Hallett in second with a net 58 and Chris Bunning and Brian Batchelor in third with a net 60.

The event was a success with over 50 players turning out, including many visitors. Thanks to Steve Barr and Tommy Tighe for organising the day and to Grant and his team for the pre- and post-round catering (including a tasty curry).

Club Matches

A team of 12 LSGC golfers travelled to Westward Ho! in September to take on Royal North Devon in our annual match. Despite a brave effort, our team suffered a defeat by 8 points to 4. The wait for a first away win in the match continues.

2018-19 knockouts

The knockout draws have now been up for a few months but there are lots of first round games still to play. If you have entered any of the competitions and have yet to arrange your first games, please don't delay. The draws are up on the club noticeboard and in the members' area of the website.
