Burns Night Celebrations Light Up the Club
Last night marked one of the most anticipated and cherished events of the club calendar as members and guests came together to celebrate Burns Night in true Scottish style. The evening was filled with warmth, tradition and fantastic company, creating a memorable celebration of Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns.
Guests were welcomed to the stirring sound of bagpipers, setting the perfect atmosphere for the night’s festivities, before the ceremonial Address to a Haggis took centre stage, a proud and entertaining highlight of the evening.
The menu was a feast worthy of the occasion. Diners enjoyed a traditional Cock-a-Leekie soup starter, followed by classic Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. This was complemented by a hearty traditional roast dinner, with a beautifully presented cheese board to round off the feast in style.
With great food, rich tradition and wonderful company, it was a Burns Night celebration to remember, and one that truly captured the spirit of this much-loved Scottish occasion.
