A reminder that the 2019 London Scottish Pro-am will take place on Wednesday 22 May. This is always a great event, giving you the opportunity to play alongside a professional and have a chance to win some great prizes. The entry fee is £60 per person / £180 per team for LSGC members and £75 per person / £225 per team for non-members. Please try to enter if you can, and spread the word to others. If you'd like to enter, speak to Steve or Tommy, put your names on the sheet at the club, or email info@londonscottishgolfclub.com. And if you are keen to play but don't have a team, just let us know and we will find you partners.
Upcoming competitions
This coming weekend (16 and 17 March) sees the staging of the Lee Oliver (open to those aged under 50) and the Faulkner Rose Bowl (open to those aged 50 and above). The respective reigning champions are Calum Bavin (net 68) and Andrew Dalton (net 65).
Competition results
Congratulations to David Paul, who won the St David's Cup with a net 65. Gordon Hay finished second and Owen Emmington-Thomas was third (both with net 67s).
And well done to Nick Sharp, who won the recent Spencer Cup with an impressive round of net 67 in some very windy conditions. Nick was the only player in the field of 37 entrants to beat his handicap. Charlie Matthews (net 68) was second and David Paul (net 69) third.
